Perimeter of Parallelogram

Perimeter of A Parallelogram: The perimeter of a parallelogram is the total distance around the outside of the parallelogram. A parallelogram has four sides with opposite sides being equal.

The formula for finding the perimeter is Side A + Side B + Side A + Side B.

Perimeter = 2(b + s) where b is the base length and s is the side length.

Example: The length of adjacent sides of parallelogram are 39cm and 15cm. Find the perimeter.

Solution: Perimeter = 2(39 + 15)= 54cm
